On Rocky Nook Bowls held the first ever pop-up bowling green at Eden Park. The ground-keeping team marked out the rinks and RNB provided 30 sets of barefoot bowls, mats and jacks as part of Eden Park's final Food Truck evening for the summer with the theme of "active". 

Although probably the slowest green we'd ever bowled on (the inevitable result of it being on the Outer Oval cricket outfield) we had a great evening exposing more locals to the danger of enjoying lawn bowls.

Thanks Eden Park for inviting us. Thanks to the club members who helped move the club across to The Hood for the afternoon. And thanks to the locals who had a go- some great, untapped skills out there, from old and young. And they can say they bowled at Eden Park!
