Kia ora!
The season is now well underway with Team Kōtare already represented at a number of Centre events including the new Rapid Roll Pairs (Morgan, Jim and Steve shown above at Remuera this week) and 1-5Y Men's Pairs (Jim and Lance).
We also had a really well attended public Have A Go Day on Saturday with at least 30 visitors hosted by around 10 members (some pics below and more on Instagram). Bound to be a few new memberships from this so thanks to everyone who supported the event.

spring twilight bowls
As above, the AIC is now hosting a twilight bowls 4s series on A Green over four Thursdays in November. It's an Open tournament so RNB members can also register a team here.

The Bar and Kitchen will be open from 4pm so, even if you're not taking part, it's the perfect opportunity to come down for a twilight rollup under lights with friends and whanau over a drink and maybe a bite to eat.

There will be rinks available for members on B Green unless already booked by groups (which will always be in the Google calendar at the bottom of the Calendar page on our website).

len davidson open pairs 2026
Open registration will be advertised from Nov 1, but RNB members can enter our premier event of the season right now.
This is the 6th annual tournament celebrating our late Life Member and President, Len Davidson. An Open Any Combination Pairs tournament, this is a showcase of the club to the wider Auckland Bowls community and if last year is anything to go by it will be oversubscilbed so don't miss out on a great day's competition.

Member earlybird registration is avaialble here.

raumati/summer twilight bowls3five
Registration is also open for the highly anticipated return of our summer Twilight Bowls3five series. 6 weeks bowling for just $150 with great prizes, music and kai over the warm summer evenings. Register here.

Ma te wā!

PS: A reminder that coaching is free to all members, Full and Limited Playing, each Monday evening from 6-7pm.. Weather hasn't been that conducive so far but if the session is cancelled it will be posted in the club notices on the homepage on the day.

No need to register, just roll up any time from 5.30pm- all equipment provided, including club competition bowls.
