Haere mai to our newest members, Tyson Walters, David Nicholas, Mardi Smith and Greer Jones!

And well done to Simon Cameron and Richard Fuller for making the playoffs in the Auckland Men's and Women's Pairs last weekend!

A big ngā mihi nui to all of the club members who have stepped up to steward our many groups recently (a few pics from these events sprinkled around this newsletter). Feeback has been unanimously positive and, up until today, we've been pretty lucky with the weather.

Last Friday was our busiest day of the year so far and this weekend will exceed those numbers again- 230 (Fri) and 70 (Sat) visitors. So we're appreciative of those members who can donate 4hrs here and there (for a $50 Westfield voucher or club gear!) to make the most of this valuable income stream that helps keep our membership fees low.

One last club social tournament this Sunday and it's a full house with 8 triples teams competing for xmas hams, chickens and other goodies followed by a club BBQ.
The Club bar fridge will be open from 12pm for $6 subsidised drinks (cash, bank transfer or dosh* card only)

*We use dosh, the new digital banking app, with no fees.
Download the dosh app from your App Store and use the referral code 00011699 to sign up.

twilight bowls3five mini
Great turnout for our mini Social Twilight bowls event last week (pics above).
12 teams played 3 games of 5 ends under the Rocky Nook Bowls lights with the honours going to Brewster BC with 2 wins and a draw (Special mention to the superb Kohi team Kohi Krackers who participated but didn't take a prize as they had a couple of full time bowlers).

1st place Brewster BC, 2nd place Bowl Bags, 3rd Place Can't See Jack, and a welcome return of our club mascot Ted supporting his team Adoraballs

Thanks to all the teams who took part, and we look forward to seeing you again for the Raumati series in January- registrations are now open- click the image below.

one more thing…
This is the last club newsletter for the year so a reminder that members can access the greens and match room any time over the summer break when the greens are open, just note your visit details and bowler numbers in the log just inside the door. The season (and AIC bar) closes on Sat 21st and reopens on Fri 10th Jan.

Meri Kirihimiti and a safe and relaxing New Year's break if you're having one.
