Kia ora {{First Name}}, Another chance to win in our Club Night member cash draw on Friday as well as plenty of dry - if cool and windy right now!- weather to enjoy the greens under. Currently the AIC bar is open Thursday and Friday evenings, as well as Sundays from 2.30pm, so members can take advantage of a roll-up with a drink or meal. The Irish Club has a full week of events leading into St Patrick's Day on the 17th- when the greens will be closed for the day- including a Family Day on the 14th followed by Parade Day on the 15th- the same day as we host our big open tournament, The Len Davidson Memorial Pairs. |

club champ singles Pictured above are our 2026 Club Singles Champs. From a starting field of 8 one of our newest members, Morgan McConnell, held his nerve to defeat Charlie Devlin in the final. Winning all his 3 games in the rising heat of this knockout tournament will set him up nicely for the Champ of Champs series at the end of the season. The three women competitors played a round robin and after being undefeated in two games, Maree Becket emerged triumphant, with Sue Wilson runner up with one win. Thanks to the supporters and also the Match Committee for a smoothly run event. |
auckland cup 7s A great tournament experience for our newer, and experienced, members last weekend with some great bowling though not enough wins to make the finals this coming weekend. Some pics below… |

club night It seems like just last week that we had our first Club night of the year… well, due to weather and holiday weekend postponements it was only 2 weeks ago.
Pics above of a fine evening, including Corner 2 Corner champ Lance, with his winnings. But James Winter wasn’t there to take home $150 in the member cash draw so this jackpots to $200 for this week! Members can bring two guests to bowl for free- and are in to win $200 cash if they're on site at 7pm. We've also supplemented the monthly gold coin Corner 2 Corner prize pot with a $20 Woolies voucher. Of course there's also the AIC Bar and Kitchen- manned by Kingsland Social's Phil Clark. |

one more thing… We have new mats and jacks storage. Being mobile it'll be easier for stewards and match officials to transport these items outside, as well as being able to stay outside and visible for bowlers to retun them post-match before storing. Wet mats will also drain better instead of lying in a damp heap on the Match Room floor.
Just need to reattach sponsor, Ray White's stickers to those mats! Mā te wā, Rocky Racoon |

A huge thank you to long-time RNB supporters, G & T Productions. They've donated 6x tickets to their next Civic Theatre show, & Juliet, for our Twilight Bowls3Five final night prize draw! G&T were responsible for the recent smash hits Jersey Boys, Kinky Boots, Matilda and last year's Priscilla- Queen of The Desert, and if you haven't heard of this show, then you'll certainly have heard of the music it features. All certified bangers- and all written by the same composer...Max Martin. Having seen it in Melbourne a couple of years ago (it's currently on Broadway, featuring New Zealander Hayden Tees) I reckon it's one of the cleverest and most fun stories I've seen in a long time. Check out some clips online and BOOK NOW! And Juliet New Zealand |
