First up, nau mai haere mai to our newest members- Mark Lissaman and Wayne Wood - hope to see you at club night on Friday!

There's been a bit on since the last newsletter, including the raining off of our premier tournament, the Len Davidson Memorial Open Pairs last month. However the Match Committee found an alternative date and 16 teams are once again set to compete on March 15th- amongst the Irish Club's St Patrick's Day weekend of celebrations this year.

And the first few weeks of Thursday evening Twilight Bowls3five (below) have been held in glorious summer conditions and continue this week for another 4 weeks.
Here are some pics from week two…

club mixed pairs
Perfect conditions for Champ Mixed Pairs on  Feb 1st, with 4 teams competing for glory.

And after the 3-game round robin Richard and Evie Fuller (pictured below) emerged victorious and undefeated - aided by a last end win against eventual 3rd place pair of Steve King and Paula Polkinghorn.

But it was last-minute entry Sue Wilson and Charlie Devlin who were runners up.

Thanks to Richard for organising and Jamie for preparing the superb green.
