And congratulations to Sean Carroll, Jim Lawn and Chris Dewar on edging out Richard, Gordon and Colin (and sub, Morgan) in a close-fought tie breaker to win this year's Graded Triples a few weekends ago. Whakamihi.

Weather permitting this Friday 7th is our first member Club Night of the season, with all that that entails (see above…). New members, perhaps an opportunity to not only collect your membership card but also win $50 cash, just for being at the club! 

Apologies if we haven't communicated this to everyone but we've scrapped the trial of digital membership cards- the Irish Club's system just wasn't up to our specific requirements (you wouldn't have been receiving this newsletter for example…). 

The digital cards will likely no longer work so physical cards for every member are now available (compiled in alphabetical order) from the Match Room, just above the member visit register. You'll need this to get your 10% discount over the bar and identify yourself as a club member, not only at RNB but also at other bowls clubs that have reciprocal benefits.

As above, the AIC is now hosting a twilight bowls series on A Green over the four Thursdays in November.

The Bar and Kitchen will be open from 5pm so, even if you're not taking part, it's the perfect opportunity to come down for a twilight rollup under lights with friends and whanau over a drink and maybe a bite to eat.

There will be rinks available for members on B Green unless already booked by groups (which will always be in the Google calendar at the bottom of the Calendar page on our website).

This is the 6th annual tournament celebrating our late Life Member and President, Len Davidson. An Open Any Combination Pairs tournament, this is a showcase of the club to the wider Auckland Bowls community and if last year is anything to go by it will be oversubscribed.
