Our spring/koanga twilight bowls season is over so now we look forward to the summer/raumati series- supported by Full Time Sports Bar in Kingsland, our final club tournament of the year in the Xmas Ham event on the 17th, and the other biggie in the calendar The Len Davidson Memorial Open Pairs in January

But first, it's our final member Club night of the year this week with a two guest per member limit and a jackpotted $100 member draw- but you have to be at the draw to win it!

Whakamihi/congratulations to BowlBags (above) on winning the 2024 Koanga Twilight Bowls3Five series!

A tight final game saw them triumph over eventual runners-up Health & Sport Heroes under perfect conditions.

All the other teams were up for the lucky prize draw winning everything from RNB visitor bowls double passes to Auckland Irish club bar, The Classic : Comedy Club and Burgerfuel vouchers.

Whakamihi congratulations to 2024 1-5Y Singles winner Richard Fuller, and Clifton Cup for 1st Year Singles bowler- and 1-5Y runner up- Jim Lawn (both pictured below being congratulated by club coach, Steve Clifton).

Great to have 3 new first years competing in what were very trying conditions.

Congratulations to all for turning up and ensuring the tournament was completed and great work from the Match Committee and Greenkeeper.

Waimarie pai to the Team Kōtare squad representing Rocky Nook Bowls in the Auckland Men's and Women's Pairs this weekend. Sean Carrol and Gordon Cowie are playing at East Tamaki, Puna Paratoa and Teresa Cowie at Howick, and Simon Cameron and Richard Fuller at Pakuranga. Kia kaha!
