Sadly, due to Covid Level 3 restrictions on gatherings it's unfeasible to hold this event. All teams will be offered a refund, or they can chose to roll their registration over to the Raumati (Summer) series- 19/1-23/2. Team skips will re ceive an email withmore information.

We will continue to look for opportunities for a limited, or even one-night, tournament before Christmas and all registrants will get advance notice.

Get ready for one of the highlights of your summer!

The music will be pumping, food and drink flowing, and competition fierce for RNB's 2021 Twilight Bowls3Five Koanga (Spring) series (the first of two series this season!), sponsored by Harcourts Twentythree

Kick-start your weekend with a couple of friends or whanau (teams can have unlimited subs). All skill levels and experience are encouraged- it's all just friendly competition... until it gets serious :-)

Drinks will be available to purchase from the AIS bar and this year we have a range of food trucks!

Spectators and cheerleaders are encouraged, and there'll be weekly prizes of 3x double passes to The Classic comedy club for top teams as well as spot prizes throughout the tournament thanks to Bowls NZ.

The final night prizegiving will include a meals for each team (additional can be purchased) along with prizes and a trophy.

Registration fee: $150 per team (includes prize-giving dinner)



  • Six week season starting Thursday 21st October through to 25th November (with rain delay hold of 2nd Dec).
  • 6pm for 6:30pm start
  • Teams of 3- Lead, Second and Skip in that order- with substitutions permitted (we know it's hard for everyone to commit to 6 weeks).
  • Only one Full Playing year5+ club member per team. That player cannot Skip (go last) but teams are welcome to all stay at the mat end (not sending Skips ahead).
  • Matching uniforms encouraged!
  • Bowls can be supplied by the club or own bowls may be used.
  • Winners Trophy and weekly prizes


  • Two bowl triples - 3 players each deliver two bowls, per end.
  • Two sets of five ends
  • Games last approximately 75-90 minutes.
